Job Description:

I am a freelance photojournalist and documentary photographer. My work has covered various topics such as war, displacement & social unrest. I seek to tell untold stories and give a clear voice to the unheard and the misrepresented. I am based out of Los Angeles, California. My work has been published in The New York Times, Time, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Business Insider, Indiewire, The Guardian, MSN, VOX, Financial Times, Refinery29, The Face, The Nation, and many more. I have worked for the United Nations, various NGO's including the Free Burma Rangers and on independent documentaries.

Educational Background:

Bachelor's Degree in English Literature with a Minor in Film Studies from University of California, Los Angeles

Career Path:

Upon graduating from UCLA, I worked in entertainment for four and a half years. This included work at a talent agency, a talent management company and then work as a camera operator on sets. During this time, I photographed as a hobby mostly, and eventually made the jump to work as a photojournalist and documentary photographer professionally. I flew to Southeast Asia to cover topics like war, refugees and internally displaced peoples, social unrest and politics.
